Soon, computers will be able to save data to your hard drive that clear like a crystal made of glass. Scientists in Britain developed a new way of storing information in memory crystal inspired from the movie "Superman".
Martynas Beresna and his team at Southampton University using a laser to rearrange the atoms in a piece of glass, then turn it into a new type of computer memory.
They claim the memory storage made of glass is much more stable and resilient than other types of hard drive memory which commonly used today. This excess could be a solution considering the current memori hard drives have an average age of a limited and vulnerable to damage due to humidity or high temperatures.
The data or information contained in it,can be written, erased or rewritten into the molecular structure of glass using a laser.
This process changes the way light travels through glass, creating a vortex that polarized light which can be read in the same way as the data is delivered by fiber optics.
Memory with glass materials like a crystal glass made from the existing memory in the film Superman. Inside there are video recordings and other data stored both parents. When inserted in a player device, Superman can see all the data in it.
